Wedi Tilebacker board is also a highly efficient thermal insulator and vapour barrier.

Wedi Tilebacker Board is also a joy to use! Tilebacker is lightweight, easy to cut and dimensionally stable. It is supplied in a variety of thicknesses. This is more than a surface for tiling onto - it is a construction material that opens up a wealth of creative possibilities on tight budgets.

When used to level uneven walls, it delivers the finished job much faster than rendering or plastering.

There is minimum dust even when drilling. wedi Tilebacker has a blue Styrofoam™ core. Both sides are coated with a polymer-modified cement coating and reinforced with glass fibre.

Wedi board also dramatically improves the effectiveness of under-tile heating systems.
